Hope Valley Bike Collective Meetup: Welcoming new members
Tuesday 10th March / 7-8pm / Hope Tea Rooms, Hope Rd, Hope, Hope Valley S33 6AA
Launched last autumn with ‘Pies, Pedals and Punctures’, Hope Valley Bike Collective is now planning for 2026. Join us on Tuesday 10th March to help shape what’s next.
This is a friendly open group for anyone interested in supporting and inspiring people of all ages and abilities to cycle more in the Hope Valley.
The Collective was formed in August 2025 in response to community feedback from villages in the Hope Valley around making it easier for people to cycle. At our first meeting we discussed ideas including creating family friendly group rides, opportunities to share skills, knowledge, gear and working with local businesses and groups to improve bike facilities and support. Along with our first event in November – ‘Pies, Pedals and Punctures’ we held our first Any Bike Will Do social ride on Sunday 1st February 2026.
To get involved or just find out more please come along to our first meetup of the year on Tuesday 10th March 7-8pm. We will discuss plans for our Spring ‘Pedals and Punctures’ event and other activities for 2026. We particularly welcome those who are new to cycling!
In the meantime, please join our Bike Collective Whatsapp Community or email Emily with any questions – EmilyGait@hopevalleyclimateaction.org.uk
