Wildlife friendly gardening

Garden Wild

HVCA Garden Wild is a network of people interested in wildlife gardening. No formal meetings, minutes or committees! We  visit each others gardens, ask questions, share knowledge and ideas, plants and seeds.

If you have a garden of any kind or size in the Hope Valley area or even if you are just interested in encouraging others to make their gardens more wildlife friendly, we would love to hear from you.

There is a wealth of advice available about wildlife gardening – planting flowers to attract bees, constructing a wildlife pond, linking gardens to create hedgehog highways, planting hedges and making a mini meadow.  Sharing experiences with like-minded wildlife gardeners could develop your interest and bring greater benefits for local wildlife, as well as for local people.

As the wild areas in gardens increase, it will link us to the countryside around and improve wildlife habitats and biodiversity throughout the Hope Valley.

Please let Scharlie know if you would like to join.
