Community Meeting: Active Travel Masterplan
Thursday 7th August | Old Hall tea rooms, Hope | 6-7:30 pm
Join us for a friendly discussion hosted by members of Hope Valley Climate Action (HVCA) to learn more about the Hope Valley Active Travel Masterplan –
The Hope Valley has been selected as one of the first rural areas in England to develop an Active Travel Masterplan, led by Derbyshire County Council. The draft plan is now open for public feedback until 24th August.
Hope Valley Climate Action is hosting a community meeting for anyone who lives, works, or travels in the Hope Valley. This is a chance to come together, take a closer look at the plans, and feel more confident about how to respond to the consultation.
We’ll have printed maps available and will do our best to answer questions or help clarify parts of the plan. It’s a friendly space to listen, learn, and decide how you want to respond. HVCA is also willing to take part in a local discussion in your village. Please contact us if you would like to arrange an informal meeting.
We’re also preparing a formal response on behalf of Hope Valley Climate Action, and we’ll share some key points and questions we’ve identified — which might help you shape your own thoughts and feedback.
If you’d like to attend or if you need more information, please let Laurie know at lauriecooper@hopevalleyclimateaction.org.uk
