People’s Emergency Briefing – Chinley

Jeremy Wight, past Chair and Trustee of Hope Valley Climate Action will be joining the community in Chinley for their screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing on the 3rd of July.
Join in person for a special community screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, a powerful and accessible film that explores the climate and ecological crisis — and, crucially, what we can do about it.
This event is an opportunity to reflect and turn concern into positive practical action. We will have representatives from local climate action and biodiversity groups but we want to hear your thoughts and ideas too. This is not doom and gloom! It’s about learning together and discovering positive ways forward.
Following the film, we’ll host an open and friendly discussion where everyone is welcome, whether you’re already involved in local initiatives or just beginning to think about these issues. Together we’ll explore simple steps we can take as individuals or together.
