Mini Switzerland — Join us!
Join us at Edale Village Hall on Friday 17th July, 1:30–3.15 pm, to celebrate the Mini Switzerland project — a national demonstration of how integrated transport can work, inspired by the world-leading Swiss model. The project vision is that buses will connect with trains at Hope Valley stations, serving all villages and key visitor destinations seven days a week, offering a genuine alternative to the car for residents and visitors alike.
We’re delighted that East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward will be joining us, alongside National Park CEO Phil Mulligan, Visit Peak District MD Jo Dilley, High Peak MP Jon Pearce, and other local partners. Tea, coffee, and cake will be served.
