Hope Valley Art Trail by Rail – Join Us!
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September, 10- 5 pm
This is a unique event in the area and celebrates local creativity and sustainable travel. Everyone will be invited to travel on the Hope Valley railway line and hop on and off to explore local creativity village by village. Artists will be opening their studios and gardens, and exhibiting in Hope Valley villages. You will be able to buy local handmade gifts, get hands-on in creative workshops, and enjoy some local refreshments and entertainment along the way.
This year, we have 40 artists participating across 13 venues within walking distance of train stations between Chinley and Grindleford. They will be showcasing their work, providing demonstrations, and delivering workshops and activities.
The event will take place over two full days so you can access all of the venues and activities using the train and bus. The event is free to attend and you can pick up your printed trail brochure on the day at one of the venues, which will be listed online on the main event page below.
