Help Shape the 2026 Hope Valley Art Trail
Tuesday 17th March / 7-8:30pm / Hope Tea Rooms, Hope Rd, Hope, Hope Valley S33 6AA
After the success of the first ever Hope Valley Art Trail by Rail last year we’re looking to get planning for September 2026!
The Art Trail by Rail will take place during September 2026 (exact weekend tbc), and we need volunteers to help make it happen.
What does the Planning Group do?
We meet online approx. monthly, moving to fortnightly as the event gets closer. If you would like to get involved or find out more please come along to our first meetup on the 17th March.
We need a core planning team to help support with the logistics, communications, artist liaison, volunteer liaison, local sponsorship as well as supporting on the day itself. Examples of tasks carried out by planning group volunteers last year included:
- Attending monthly meetings to support event coordination and logistics
- Inviting local artists to take part and apply to be in the festival
- Collaborating with local businesses for art supplies for the art competition
- Delivering a workshop on the day for sketching and children
- Helping promote the event by putting up posters and delivering leaflets to local cafes/businesses
If you’d like to get involved or just find out a bit more, please come along to our first meetup Tuesday, 17th March 7-8:30 pm at Hope Tea Rooms (through the Old Hall Pub).
If you have any questions in the meantime, please email EmilyGait@hopevalleyclimateaction.org.uk
This activity forms part of the Move More Hope Valley project, supported by High Peak Borough Council
