Energy Summit – Join us!
This event brings together local energy groups and experts to share their work on home energy, renewables, and retrofit. It’s also a chance for attendees to connect with projects they’re interested in, share ideas for new ones, and help shape future energy priorities in the Hope Valley. When: Saturday, 23 rd May 2026, 9.15 am-12.30 pm at Moore Memorial Hall, Brentwood Road, Bamford
What to expect:
We’ll start at 9:15 with local group talks from 9:45, followed by the opportunity to talk directly to experts. At 11:25, we’ll have an open discussion of projects we would like to see. Over the morning, we’ll learn what’s happening in and around the valley, identify things we want to see happen and talk about how to get started. Bring your questions, ideas, and energy! The day will include:
- Talk from Sheffield Energy Hub (group formation, home energy services, grants and retrofit)
- Updates from Hope Valley Community Energy
- Input from Marches Energy Agency (non-domestic properties)
- HVCA Energy Group update
