We are delighted to have worked with The Angler’s Rest at Bamford, to learn what actions have been taken to help customers travel light.
The Angler’s Rest is a community-run pub, café and post office, providing a hub for the village and a fantastic welcome for visitors.
"We really want to provide facilities for the local community so they don't have to go miles away, they don't have to get in their car and drive, we want them to be able to walk to places"
The following actions have been taken at The Angler’s Rest:
- Facilitate active travel to your business, e.g. providing bike maintenance facilities and secure storage
- Make travel to your business part of your sustainable ethos
- Consider working with EV charging providers
