This June, Travelling Light brings you their very own 30 Day challenge! We’ll be posting an action you can take every day in June on our social media to help make the world a better place through low-carbon travel and transport. Will you take the challenge?

Here’s a preview of the 30 actions you could take this June:
Complete Commonplace and ask three other people to do the same
Put a summer community event in your diary
Share an environmental message on social media
Use the bus if you can
Take a photo of something you like about your local travel and transport infrastructure, and something you don’t like. Compare these images on social media or in a letter to your councillor to inspire others
Write to your councillor or MP about a transport or sustainability issue
Try litter picking while you’re walking or wheeling
Join a walking group or invite a friend or neighbour for a walk
Try car sharing if you can
This Great Big Green Week, sign a petition or take another e-action about low carbon travel and transport
Consider volunteering with a travel and transport organisation (including us at Travelling Light!)
Use the train if you can
Download a Travelling Light poster and display it in the window of your home or business
Suggest a walking meeting with colleagues
Make a local journey by walking, wheeling or cycling if you can on National Clean Air Day
Refill your water bottle at home this World Refill Day, rather than buying bottled water
Attend a Dr Bike or bike repair workshop to get your bike back on the road or trails
Try a car-free walk this weekend
