Reducing fossil fuel dependency – Travelling Light

We want to see a Hope Valley where people use private vehicles less because there are attractive alternatives, including excellent public transport and active travel options.

We’d like to see business vehicle journeys across the Valley  reduced through greater sharing, electric commercial vehicles and rail haulage. Car use could be further reduced through car sharing and electric car clubs.
