Homes Fit for the Future

Derbyshire Dales DC and High Peak BC are working (together with others across the county) on a ‘Homes fit for the future’ project. The project aims to support residents to make energy efficiency improvements to their homes – reducing both energy bills and carbon emissions. The project is still at the very early stage of development and in this consultation phase we want to speak to as many local residents as possible to understand what support they may need to make energy efficiency improvements to their homes. The project aims to support those who may be able to pay for improvements but do not know where to start or who to trust. We can also discuss the current grant funding both Councils have available to residents who may be in fuel poverty.

The informal event is being held on Wednesday 9th November 7 – 8pm Loxley Village Hall, Hope, S33 6RH with both Derbyshire Dales District Councillor Peter O’Brien and the Climate Change Officer from HPBC attending.
