The HVCA Energy group arranged a zoom meeting in relation to Energy Heat and Buildings to reflect on the implications of COP 26 and the documents the Government issued just before COP, including their Heat and Building Strategy and their Net Zero Strategy.  

UK Government policy is strong on ambition but weak on delivery, especially in relation to insulating/ retrofitting all our homes and other buildings.  The meeting will also reflect on what are the implications for our campaigning, both locally and on our MP’s and the Government.

Michael Corcoran set the ball rolling with an introductory presentation, which provoked a lively discussion about the challenges of retrofitting our homes and generating renewable power.
