A series of Eco Home events to provide advice and encouragement to folk in Chesterfield and Derbyshire who want to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint. These were organised by community and environmental groups across Derbyshire and featured presentations by experts and homeowners who described their experiences of making their homes more eco-friendly and answered questions.

As we modernise and electrify our home energy there are many options to consider to make the different parts work well together. This was a talk and discussion by Damon Blakemore and Rob Ritchie about how to best Integrate and Control your Solar panels, Batteries, Heat pumps, Hot water, EV charging, and Grid connections to your best advantage.
As we add extra parts to our home energy, it can be complicated and puzzling getting them all to work well and efficiently together. There are multiple variables including grid tariffs, your lifestyle, weather, personal preferences, export tariffs, etc so the controls need to personalised and effective to ensure that one gets the best value for money from one’s system.
