Use the Bus
HVCA’s ‘Use the Bus’ campaign goes live. Looks out for updates on social media, flyers to all Hope Valley households and articles in the village magazines. Use the Bus aims to encourage people to use our local bus services to Sheffield, Bakewell and Buxton. Fewer journeys by car will reduce carbon emissions and help tackle climate change in Hope Valley.
Use the Bus is supported by bus companies and local authorities. With their help, we are asking everyone to please Use the Bus whenever you can to:
- Relax with family and friends
- Go shopping in Bakewell or Buxton, or enjoy an evening out in Sheffield
- Avoid the hassle and cost of car parking
- Commute to and from work, even once or twice a week
- Meet old and make new friends while travelling
- Reduce carbon emissions and help tackle climate change
