Bamford

HVCA have so far planted 400 trees, with 400 more to go! We have a Treemometer in the Anglers Rest showing progress towards our target – nearly there!​

Grindleford

The Grindleford Tree Planting Group​ have various projects, including tree and hedgerow planting on National Trust land, a butterfly meadow, and a campaign against use of glyphosate on Calver Road.  contact Paul Thorpepaul.thorpe@hotmail.com

Mam Tor

HVCA volunteers have helped plant trees using the Miyamaki method on land close to Mam Tor. The Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield is coordinating monitoring research on-site with postgraduate students.

Bradwell

Bradwell Community Orchard, Michlow Lane,  was founded in 2010.  Contact  Ellie Dunn

Edale

Sustainable Edale have created  a community orchard on National Trust land they are alos involved in Kinder peatland restoration and tree planting and have planted 1,500 Woodland Trust trees.

Bretton

HVCA volunteers helped plant 2,000 native trees at Stanage House Farm.

Eastern Moors

HVCA volunteers have helped plant lots of trees on the left-hand side of Totley Road going into Sheffield.
